Romy is a medical hospice social worker in New York and Connecticut with advanced training and a deep commitment to hospice and palliative care. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Barnard College, a Master of Arts degree from Columbia University, and a Master of Social Work degree from the Wurzweiler School of Social Work at Yeshiva University.
Romy's professional focus is on serving older adults and individuals facing serious illness at the end of life. As a hospice LMSW, she specializes in working with and offering a compassionate presence to patients and families navigating the hospice journey, when dignity, comfort, and connection matter most. She is continually moved by the resilience she witnesses and by the opportunity to support growth, connection, and peace, even in life’s most difficult moments.
Romy has always believed deeply in providing compassionate, respectful care to society’s most vulnerable populations and this foundation was created from both her personal experience supporting her mother through her final days and a profound belief that everyone deserves to feel cared for, valued, and supported at the end of life.
