Mission
The Kindness at Last Foundation is dedicated to preserving dignity, comfort, and quality of life for hospice patients in need by providing small but meaningful comfort items at the end of life. Many individuals facing terminal illness lack access to basic personal care and comfort essentials due to financial hardship, limited resources, or absence of family support.
Through thoughtful sourcing and compassionate giving, Kindness at Last ensures that no one is left without simple items that offer comfort and a sense of being cared for.
Even modest gifts—such as personal care products, comfortable clothing, or reading glasses and small radios—can bring moments of relief, peace, and pleasure in a person’s final days. Funds will also help patients secure rooms in private hospice residences where they will be treated with compassion, dignity, and warmth. Our mission is to honor everyone's humanity by helping them feel seen, valued, and cared for at the end of life.

connection at the end of life. We strive to create a future where no one is overlooked in their final days, and where small acts of care—offered with intention and compassion— help ensure that every individual is met with kindness, respect, and comfort at life’s end.
The Kindness at Last envisions a hospice care system in which no patient is deprived of basic comfort or dignity due to financial or social barriers. We seek a future
where every individual at the end of life is supported not only medically, but also through small, human-centered comforts that affirm their worth and presence. By addressing unmet material needs, Care and Share aims to reduce disparities in end-of-life care and ensure that all hospice patients experience compassion, comfort, and respect in their final days.
